It’s the differences rather than the similarities of the individual varieties that make the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz such a compelling and complete wine.
Cabernet Sauvignon has a distinct lifted, leafy aroma and is defined on the palate by its structure, line and length, while Shiraz is such a generous, rich and powerful variety.
The 2019 release is highly expressive with notes of blood plum, blueberry, cocoa and hints of toasted oak. The palate is dense, complex and balanced with layers of fruit and fine tannin structure.
Given its balance and structure, this wine will age gracefully for the next 25 years.
