Sustainable Wine Roundtable

Wirra Wirra has joined the Sustainable Wine Roundtable (SWR), underscoring our dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
This membership aligns Wirra Wirra with a global network of over 130 members committed to advancing sustainability in the wine industry.
Australia has seven members including Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, but to date Wirra Wirra is the first small independent family owned winery to join.
Globally, notable members include producers like Jackson Family Wines (USA), Famille Perrin (France), Ramón Bilbao and González Byass (Spain), Cloudy Bay (New Zealand), Catena Institute of Wine (Argentina) and G.D. Vajra (Italy).
Wirra Wirra's Health, Safety, and Environment Manager, Emmanuelle Walton, emphasizes the importance of this partnership: "Sustainability is a journey, and we know there's always more to do. This is just one step, but we hope that by sharing what we're doing, we can contribute to a broader conversation about how the industry can keep evolving to meet the challenges ahead."
